Moonfish Theatre, a bilingual company in Galway, will embark on their first American tour of their production "Star of the Sea", adapted from the bestselling novel by Joseph O'Connor. Moonfish will tour to four New England presenters: Redfern Arts Center, UMass Amherst, Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH and St. Joseph University in Hartford CT. During their tour, Moonfish will collaborate with the presenters to provide exciting engagement with each community, drawing on the rich history of Irish immigration in New England, sharing their theatre making techniques as well as the Irish language and traditional Irish music.
