White Bird

In White Bird’s 20th anniversary season 2017-18, White Bird Uncaged will present three performances of Urban Bush Women’s “Hair and Other Stories” on March 1-3, 2018 at the 880-seat Newmark Theater in downtown Portland. We are planning two community activities, including a “Hair Party” in Portland’s African American neighborhood and a dance workshop at an arts magnet school in Portland. We also will have at least one extended post-show discussion with the company and audience.
