BANDALOOP, internationally acclaimed pioneers of vertical dance, return to Providence for a unique exchange and collaboration with local spoken-word artists, building to a new work. As a headlining artist of PVDFest, anticipated to draw 75,000 spectators, BANDALOOP will lead three performances on a skyscraper in the heart of Downtown Providence. They will participate in community engagement activities including a Town Hall storytelling event in a neighborhood that has been struggling to revitalize, as well as workshops with local students. #PVDPublicCanvas will be a place-specific celebration that brings people and artists together across generations, cultures, and disciplines.
