MODERN LIVING is a multi-chapter project by Gerard & Kelly that explores themes of queer intimacy and domestic space within legacies of modernist architecture. The project began as two site-specific performances—at the Schindler House in Los Angeles and The Glass House in New Canaan, CT. As a special project at the Seattle Art Fair (August 3-6, 2017), Gerard & Kelly translate these performances into an immersive installation integrating architectural forms and video projection.
