New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) in partnership with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is hosting a series of discussions among artists and municipal planners.
Come learn about examples from the field from both artist and planner perspectives and share your thoughts on how you see public art addressing a range of municipal planning goals and objectives. This event will feature brief presentations by guest speakers, and will primarily focus on smaller group conversations between artists and planners.
Our guest speaker for our January discussion is Stacy Levy, a Pennsylvania-based environmental sculptor who uses art as a vehicle for translating the patterns and processes of the natural world. We are excited to bring Stacy Boston to share about her work and to lead us in this discussion on art and green infrastructure.
