Theater Mitu

Theater Mitu’s production of Juárez: A Documentary Mythology garnered remarkable domestic success through support from NEFA’s NTP creation and touring grant during the 2015-2016 cycle. For the first time in the company’s twenty-year history, Theater Mitu embarked on a full-scale national tour, exposing new audiences to our innovative ensemble created work, thus lifting the company’s work to the national level. With the support of NTP’s transition grant, Theater Mitu will capitalize on this success by extending the role of tour manager to nourish and fuel the relationships garnered from the NEFA NTP creation grant, and move the company to focus on touring as a viable income source.
