FUKUDANCE's Re:main project expands a previously developed idea into a full length dance performance through ten interactive free workshops with non-dancers. The overall goal of the project is to provide cathartic exploration of an individual's sense of powerlessness in what can feel like unjust and controlling forces in society. From the Karoshi concept to the physically limiting movement, the work brings audiences through a visceral experience of the conflict between individual desire and societal expectation.
3S Artspace is working with FUKUDANCE to offer a preview presentation of the full length piece as well as to host three free, interactive workshops.
