Litchfield Jazz Festival/Camp

Avery Sharpe will be in residence at a master teacher and performer at Litchfield Jazz Camp from July 8- July 27, 2018. He will lead student combos, master, and theory classes, appear on artist panels and give public performances with other faculty members. On July 28, he will lead a group of hand-selected musicians on the Mainstage at the Litchfield Jazz Festival. The festival's theme this year is "Music Inn Reimagined." In the collaborative spirit of the iconic "Music Inn," the festival will feature many different styles of jazz music and dance. Avery's diverse experience and drive to encourage ensemble work makes him a perfect choice for this lineup.
