Choreographer Ali Kenner Brodsky and musician MorganEve Swain will present PARt, a multifaceted performance piece of dance, music, and art. In development over the past year and a half, PARt is reflecting on memories in and amongst movements, music, and visual landscapes. Swain creates raw, emotional material, pulled from experience in loss and growth. It flows alongside the dancers, rather than punctuating them, so that the music and the dance are two working parts of a larger machine. PARt is the first evening-length performance for Swain and Kenner Brodsky, whose collaborations began in 2013, with Swain and late husband David Lamb writing and performing as Providence duo Brown Bird.
