NextMove Dance

Sin Salida is a new collaboration between contemporary dance (Kate Weare) and Argentine tango (Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega). This project brings together artists from both genres for a unique meld of disciplines, cultures and values. Tango explores freedom only through continuous connection between partners. In contrast, contemporary dance exalts the individual as both locus of meaning and generator of content. The artists seek to merge their respective forms toward a common human predicament: one needs the other to perceive oneself.
