Sandglass Theater

To present a series of storytelling and walking tour events created by members of the ELNU Abenaki artist collective based on their ancestral grounds in Southern Vermont at the 2020 Puppets in the Green Mountains international festival September 8 – 13. The Abenaki are members of the Wabanaki Confederacy and are the First Peoples of the unceded lands on which Sandglass Theater and Southern Vermont is located. The events will engage local and visiting national and international audiences with the lesser-known history of this local landscape and celebrate ELNU Abenaki heritage.
