International Festival of Arts and Ideas presents As I Remember It, created and performed by legendary dancer and actor Carmen de Lavallade. This solo piece spans Ms. De Lavallade's unparalleled seven-decade career working with luminaries like Lena Horne, Harry Belafonte, Josephine Baker and Alvin Ailey. The Festival will present two performances in June 2015 as part of its 20th anniversary season. Engagement activities include workshops, panel lectures, and dance classes for active older adults.
